Clean, renewable energy. Increased energy.
A sustainable way of life.

“I’d put my money on the sun and solar energy. What a source of power! I hope we don’t have to wait until oil and coal run out before we tackle that.”

Thomas Edison, in conversation with Henry Ford and Harvey Firestone, 1931

In Edison’s day, genius inventors foresaw the problems in burning fossil fuels to make electricity. In today’s world, however, everyone from heads of state to heads of households is thinking about alternatives to oil, coal, and natural gas for the production of electricity. And rightly so: Ending the wasteful energy practices of the past is the most important step we can take to preserve an ever-more-frail environment for future generations.

Woodall Construction Services now offers complete turnkey solar energy solutions to homeowners seeking to reduce or eliminate their dependence on the power grid. Experts predict a nearly 75 percent increase in grid-connected solar installations in the next twenty years. Unlike electricity made from coal and oil, solar energy uses no non-renewable fuels and pours no harmful emissions into the atmosphere. Solar photovoltaic (PV) cells use sunlight as fuel in the generation of power. And solar energy is efficient: Unlike the considerable percentage of fossil fuel-fired energy that escapes through smokestacks, solar energy is never wasted.

With solar, more green in the environment means more green in your wallet.

By now, most of us know that conserving the world’s badly depleted supplies of fossil fuels is a vital step toward ensuring a cleaner, safer environment for all. People at all stages of life are looking to lower their cost of living and preserve the natural world. In an uncertain economy, installing solar PV panels on your rooftop or property to drastically lower the cost of heating, cooling, and lighting your home is one of the most prudent money moves you can make, giving you a higher return than many other types of investments. If you apply for a FHA Home Improvement loan, you could get a 30% tax deduction on the interest you pay. More of us than ever before are making the switch to affordable, reliable solar energy, enjoying the added peace of mind that comes from knowing we’re giving the earth – and our children’s children – a gift beyond words.

When you harness the sun’s energy to power your home, you’re not just an energy consumer, you’re an energy producer. It isn’t unusual for homeowners to find themselves selling energy back to the power company after their solar systems are up and running. Woodall Construction Services has the knowledge to answer all your questions about the financial aspects of converting to solar power.
